About Me:

Specialist Nurse Practitioner BSc (Hons) - Menopause Nurse Specialist -Independent Nurse Prescriber.

With over 37 years of experience in the NHS, the last 15 of those specialising in women’s health in Primary Care, I am now retired from the NHS. I now focus entirely on menopause education and personalised care. I bring evidence-based understanding of women’s health and hormonal transitions with a holistic approach.

I hold the FSRH Menopause Care Professional Certificate and completed additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Menopause in 2019. These qualifications underpin my integrated approach to menopause management, combining clinical expertise with lifestyle, nutritional, and behavioural strategies.

My passion is educating and empowering women to make informed decisions about their health. Whether or not Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is used, I believe that menopause care must always be holistic, taking into account the powerful role of diet, exercise, sleep, stress, and emotional wellbeing.

Supporting women to take control of their menopause experience can have a profound impact on both short-term quality of life and long-term health outcomes.
